- Full Time Students cannot waive off school insurance plan unless they are covered under their parent's or employer's policy. Health insurance is required.
- Spouses of BYU Idaho students are charged a large premium to be added to the school insurance; spouses can find much better rates if they are in good health and apply through us.
- We suggest looking at the Blue Cross Essential Blue Plus or the Regence Evolve Core for spouses in good health. Please visit our Individual Health Insurance page to apply for quotes or click on the respective company links
- The BYU-Idaho maternity deductible is $4750 plus there is a $300 copay. BYU-Idaho students should consider the maternity insurance plans we offer to fill the gap in coverage. Female nonstudents in good health should also apply with Blue Cross on the Essential Blue Plus as it may provide comparable maternity benefits for less money.
